"I was a vegetarian for twenty years, and when traveling, finding good nutritious food was always a challenge for me. I am very pleased to accommodate vegetarians, vegans & those with special dietary needs aboard our vessel Wanderbird!"

We can accommodate vegetarians or vegans on any of our Maine Coast Voyages. Due to remote destinations and limited sources for provisions on our Northern Expedition trips, we are not able to accommodate special dietary requests in our usual manner during those trips; please check with us before making your reservation.

"My husband Rick & I are both active conservationists and hope to support conservation through low-impact tourism, research, education and awareness. We offer an intimate setting for twelve guests aboard our spacious 90' vessel. We offer amazing scenery, beautiful classic wood interiors, a friendly and informal atmosphere along with gourmet food."

All of our breads & pastries are made from scratch so we have complete
control of the ingredients that go into them! We can even make our own fresh fruit sorbet in an old fashioned hand crank ice cream maker! Here are some of the dishes we've enjoyed:

Oriental Broccoli Peanut Salad
Lentil Walnut Burgers on Fresh Baked 5 Grain Rolls Dressed with Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Sprouts and Homemade Zucchini Relish

Dinners:
Ginger Sesame Portobello Steaks
Handmade Raviolis with an Herb Uncheese Stuffing
Fresh Rosemary Focaccia Bread
Sage Onion Wheat Rolls

Desserts:
Warm Apricots with Fresh Raspberry Coulis & Lavender
